The Role:

To develop and expand the sales of the Company’s Wind Turbine Condition Monitoring and Asset Management business through raising awareness of the brand with key customer groups to include Asset Managers, Owners, Engineers and end users on a regional basis. To manage the sales of products through to order and the ultimate sale through our chosen route to market.

Responsibilities will include:

·       Business development; investigating new wind energy sector opportunities

·       Promoting the Company. Identifying, developing, closing and managing sales of our condition monitoring and asset management products

·       Developing a strong understanding of our condition monitoring & asset management services capabilities

·       Account management of our existing end users & operators customer base

·       Identifying in the account base, opportunities for the engineering consulting team to develop field services sales. Supporting the engineering team with administration of the sale

·       Ensuring a steady sales growth rate within designated region

·       Developing and working to a sales strategy ensuring goals/sales targets are achieved

·       Liaising with all team members in the pursuit of targets

·       Travelling to customer sites to conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations. Providing consistent follow up on opportunities or inquiries

The Ideal Sales Manager should possess:

·       A good technical understanding of renewable energy projects specifically wind turbines. Ideally of condition monitoring and the operation of major turbine components.

·       At least 5 years technical/direct sales experience

·       Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies

·       A mix of new business and account management attributes

·       Existing wind energy sector client relationships and contacts

Position within company:

Turner Iceni are looking to recruit Authorised Wind Turbine Technicians to work on an array of various turbine models for upcoming projects in the UK & Ireland

Candidates must have demonstrable wind turbine service and maintenance experience as a qualified Authorised Technician, under UK WTSR's.

Main Responsibilities will include;

  • Isolation of Turbines
  • Following and creating AWP's
  • Carrying out mechanical and/or electrical maintenance repairs on turbine gearboxes, generators and other components
  • Ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency on site whilst maintaining a safe working environment

Skills & Requirements;

  • AT Status achieved with OEM
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as a Wind Turbine Technician
  • Experience carrying out servicing
  • Fault diagnostic and repair experience
  • Full in date GWO's
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Highly Health and Safety conscious

The role will offer an initial temporary UK employment contract, however for the right candidate a permanent contract may be offered. You will benefit from a competitive salary (DOE), overtime rates and company hire vehicle.
